It takes approximately 1 - 2 weeks to create a handmade journal before it is ready to ship.
Once I receive your photos, I will start to paint and show you proofs for your approval. Once approved, the journals still need to be stitched and bound before they can be shipped.

The journal covers (front and back) are papier mache and made with 100 % recycled materials. They are hand painted with acrylic paint and various other materials, in British Columbia, Canada, .
Journals are 48 + pages (or 96 pages + front and back) and are coptic hand bound using waxed linen thread. This type of binding allows the pages to lie flat when opened, which is ideal for sketching and writing.
Approx size is 6" x 9" or 15 cm x 23 cm.
Inside 48 pages (or 96 front and back ) are 24 lb quality ivory stock.
Custom journals are available. Just send me your photos and I will design and work with you to create your own journal.
